Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011

If you feel that your business would benefit from a cloud-based CRM solution paid for on a per user per month basis then please contact us ASAP and we will attempt to enroll you in the beta programme.

Microsoft is hard at work on the next major release of Dynamics CRM.  Originally called 5.0 the product has now been given its launch monicker of 2011.  The big news is that there will be both on-premise and cloud-based versions of the product.

K3 Panacea was invited to a pre-pre-beta (i.e. very early) discussion at Microsoft where we discussed the expected functionality and licensing models for the new release.  You can expect a January launch of 2011 in the UK and there will be quite a fanfare for what is a significant upgrade on 4.0.

CRM 2011 Online is particularly interesting since it’s the first release of Dynamics CRM to be specifically architected to run on Microsoft’s cloud platform.  Whereas most hosted CRM solutions have offered little opportunity for integration and application tailoring, CRM Online should enable similar flexibility to an on premise implementation.  That means that the issues of Active Directory integration, Exchange integration, bespoke enhancements and data integration with applications hosted outside of the cloud should all be possible in the new release.

K3 Panacea is working with Microsoft to identify customers interested in becoming beta sites for CRM 2011 Online.  If you feel that your business would benefit from a cloud-based CRM solution paid for on a per user per month basis then please contact us ASAP and we will attempt to enroll you in the beta programme.  You will benefit from close Microsoft support and your feedback will directly affect the way the product is developed, implemented and packaged when launched in January.
